5 Fall Date Night Outfits

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Fairfield chapter.

The leaves are changing color, the wind is picking up, and ~everything~ is pumpkin flavored. Fall is finally here! That means it’s time for fun fall activities like apple picking, haunted hayrides, pumpkin carving, and baking pies. Not only are there so many things to get out there and do; but there is a whole new wardrobe you’ll be doing them in!

Here are 5 fall date night outfit ideas for the next time that cute classmate asks if you want to go for a stroll through a pumpkin patch:

1. A flannel with dark jeans

Comfy, casual, and still cute! This is the perfect outfit for so many activities from a trip into town, to apple picking, to a late night bonfire with s’mores.

2. Dark jean skirt with tights and booties

Jean skirts are back in style (finally)! Grab yourself a darker hued jean skirt, and pair it with some fancy tights and your fave pair of booties. This outfit is ~practically made~ for a nice dinner out on a fall night!

3. Long sleeved shift dress

Flirty and flowy! Shift dresses are an easy way to put together a cute outfit. Just add some small accessories like a long necklace or scarf, and you are ready to take on any fall activity looking effortlessly beautiful.

4. Oversized sweater with skinny jeans

It’s all about being cozy when the temperature starts to drop and the wind starts to pick up on these fall nights. An oversized sweater with some skinny jeans will do just the trick to keep you warm yet still fashionable!

5. Turtleneck dress and over the knee boots

If you want to go even just a little fancier whether it be a date night with bae or your girlfriends, a turtleneck dress and over the knee boots will have everyone doing double takes as you strut your stuff.

Try anyone of these fall outfits on your next date night and who knows- one of these dates may lead you to your ~Stagmate~!
