Whether you’re preparing for a big Halloween party or just feeling a little festive, these super-simple treats are the perfect way to impress your guests, raise your spirits and indulge your seasonal sweet tooth!

Skull Brownies:

It’s a well-known fact that you can never go wrong with a batch of chocolatey brownies. So why not add a festive twist to everyone’s favourite dessert by topping each homemade (or store-bought!) slice with a marshmallow skull? Achieving this skeletally sweet look is easy; just use a knife to cut out a mouth and taper the sides of the chin, and then add on some chocolate sprinkles for the nose and eyes. (If you’d prefer, any kind of cookie or cupcake would work great in place of the brownie too!)

Witch Hat Cookies:

If baking isn’t your thing but you’re still looking for some deliciously decorative party nibbles, this iconic Halloween treat is just what you need. Simply attach a Hershey’s kiss to a chocolate digestive biscuit with a dab of icing and pipe on a bow to finish! Very simple, very iconic, very tasty.

Oreo Spiders:

As unnerving as they may be in real life, it’s safe to say that spiders are delicious in chocolate form, and make a classic (not to mention ridiculously easy!) Halloween delight. To create these tasty critters, split apart your Oreo biscuits and push in a few trimmed pieces of shoelace liquorice legs before finishing the creepy crawlies off with some jelly bean eyes (stuck on with chocolate frosting).

Ghost Strawberries:

In both senses of the word, these fruity nibbles really couldn’t be sweeter. To make them, just dip some fresh strawberries into a bowl of melted white chocolate and complete the ghostly look with some silly chocolate piping faces.

Citrus Pumpkins:

Despite the fact that these fruity treats are quite possibly the easiest snack to make ever (take a handful of celery slices and push them into the middle of some peeled oranges – that’s literally all you need to do), there’s just something so adorable about these makeshift pumpkins that they’ll remain a must-have snack for you all holiday. Besides, in addition to tasting great, they’re the healthiest treat going this season by far!

The Black Widow Cocktail:

As we all know, the tastiest treats don’t always have to be food-based. Liven up any Halloween party with this devilishly flavoursome surprise by pouring 1 ½ ounces of chilled black vodka and ½ an ounce of cranberry juice into a glass of ice and finishing up with a glacier cherry and blood-red sugar crystals around the rim of the glass.

Tip: Add dry ice chips to any drink at Halloween for a billowing and ghostly smoke effect! (But make sure you wait until all of the chips have dissolved at the bottom of the glass before drinking, and be careful not to touch the chips with your bare hands.)

The Ghost Cocktail:

A guaranteed hit with the girls, this glamorous, ghostly cocktail can be made simply by mixing 1 oz. vanilla simple syrup, 1 oz. cream, 2 oz. vodka and 2 oz. soda in a cocktail shaker. Serve in a chilled martini glass and enjoy!

So if your’e already feeling festive this weekend, get ahead of the game and indulge yourself in these Halloween treats!
