This week’s Campus Celebrity is second year rower Jack Marcus. Here at HCX we’re all for supporting our hard working sportsmen, so, as Jack’s just come back from rowing for Exeter in the British Championship, we thought we’d catch up with him…

How was rowing in the British Championships?
It was a really great experience and it’s my second time rowing for Exeter which is really cool. I really enjoyed the trip up to Nottingham with everyone, the team spirit is infectious.
How long have you rowed for?
I started rowing when I was 13 and I’ve always rowed for my school so about 8 years actually.
Anymore cool rowing events coming up this year?
Yeah! We have the BUCS Head and Regatta coming up later this year. Oh and Henley in the summer, of course.

I was on Smile, the CBBC programme with Barney and Nev the Bear, when I was 10 years old.
