There are many ways to use a bullet journal. For example, you can use it to doodle, write down your thoughts, or plan. I use mine for all of the above.
All fit into a tiny pink bullet journal are experiences, manifestations, worries, and drawings. There is nothing that my bullet journal doesn’t have. I treat mine as a scrapbook full of photos of places, my friends, and my life. I could go back to the year 2021 and tell you what songs I was listening to back in January, all because of my bullet journal.
At the time I started therapy, I began keeping a bullet journal. I would get a new one each year to keep it exciting and organized. Looking back on my progress is so interesting and helps me to feel grounded where I am right now and know I am not in the same place I was five years ago. If I had never started bullet journaling because of my therapist, I would have so much going on up in my head, making life overwhelming.
Using my bullet journal has really helped my anxiety and made me a more creative person. I looked forward to my monthly spreads where I choose colors and symbols to represent the upcoming month. Tracking fun events, my favorite songs, and different trips allow me to reflect and look forward to the exciting things life has to offer and not worry about them until the time comes for me.
Because of its many uses, bullet journaling can benefit any one in lots of different ways. I always recommend trying to keep bullet journal. The way it helps me and the way I use it may not be what you need or do, but that’s the fun of it!
