Why be the CEO of Your Life?

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Emmanuel chapter.

What if- you thought about your life as a company?

What if– you considered yourself the CEO ?

Think about it. You could be the CEO of your life. Your life could be your company where you would have to make strong executive decisions that ultimately produce success.

It’s kind of a completely brilliant way to give yourself the confidence you would ideally need to achieve all of your goals and lead a happy, healthy, well-balanced life. If you have ever thought about being the CEO of your life or have never even heard of it, here are a few reasons why it would benefit you.

To be a Boss Babe

Considering yourself the CEO of your life gives you power- knowing you drive your success in all areas of your life. YOU ARE a boss babe with the power to hire and fire your contributors.

To Invest in Yourself

You invest in you, just like you invest time, effort and energy into a developing company. That your priorities center around your needs to be successful in all aspects of your life. You focus on what’s best for your “company”. For YOU. For your life.

To Be Your Best Self

To live your best life. Be your best self and stand out from the crowd.

Health

Work as hard as you would for a developing company, on your developing and growing body, mind and spirit. You will see a huge difference in your stress level and your mental, physical and emotional well-being.

Be a Tough Cookie

Investing the work in you and claiming your rightful CEO title means that you will not only tackle your challenges with grace, but you will possess five times more energy and strength to pick yourself back up after.

Think about it, it’s your company. It’s your life. Why shouldn’t you be the CEO?

The answer is, you should.
