One Last Stop is the second book by New York Times bestselling author Casey McQuiston. The novel is a new adult sapphic romance with elements of magic and time travel. The story follows August, a pragmatic college student trying to escape her past by moving to New York City. August doesn’t believe in the power of fate or romance, that is until she crashes head first into the charming and hot Jane Su on the subway. August keeps running into Jane every day on the subway during the exact same commute. She begins to realize that there may be supernatural forces keeping Jane stuck on the train. What begins as an investigation into possible time travel and blackholes develops into the love of a lifetime.

August also has to navigate relationships with her new roommates. Theres Niko, a transgender psychic. His girlfriend, Myla, who is an engineer with an artistic flair, and the elusive and sometimes gloomy Wes. Along with their neighbor, Isaiah, who is an accountant by day and a drag queen by night, August finds the chosen family she never knew she needed.

This is a story centered on the importance of found family and queer communities set against the colorful backdrop of New York City. McQuiston is also the author of the number one bestseller Red White and Royal Blue which is also a queer romance. McQuiston brings LGBTQ+ representation to the forefront of her novels allowing her readers to see themselves in her diverse cast of characters.

One Last Stop will make you laugh and sometimes cry as these themes of friendship, love and identity weave together into an adventurous love story in a city that never sleeps.
