I simply never left the YouTube stage of my life. I was practically raised by Bethany Mota and her Forever21 hauls. Over time, YouTuber’s content changes and shifts to a new audience. Over the past two years, I have discovered the lifestyle side of YouTube where content creators post “Days In My Life” and product recommendations. This might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but I am captivated by it. For this week’s article, I wanted to talk about some lifestyle YouTubers that I can not get enough of.

1. Danielle Carolan

I found Danielle’s video during the pandemic and I have been hooked ever since. Carolan is a recent college graduate from the University of Georgia which made her content that much more appealing to me. I felt like we were going through similar experiences and situations because we were in college at the same time. This past fall, she moved to New York City which made her content even more enjoyable. She posts a bunch of city vlogs and is always going to fun brand-sponsored events. In addition to her content being amazing, her fashion sense is too. Danielle has definitely shaped my style and I have bought some clothing pieces due to her fashion recommendations.

2. Maggie MacDonald

The main reason why I watch Maggie MacDonald is because she lives in Boston. I find her videos really entertaining because a lot of the places she goes to I have been as well—it makes her content that much more relatable! My favorite video she makes are her routine vlogs where the viewer is invited into her daily routine in Boston. Even though it is just a routine vlog, she puts a spin on it that makes it so interesting and exciting. She talks to you as if you are not just a person watching her video, but you’re her friend.

3. Margot Lee

Margot Lee is another New York City YouTuber I have been watching. Margot recently moved and has been posting a lot of videos about her apartment search and the whole moving process. Personally, I love watching moving vlogs and watching the transformation of the new place come together. Another aspect of Margot’s content that I love is her editing! Watching Margot’s videos is like watching a movie. She picks the best things to film and the music for her videos is unmatched. The aesthetic and ambiance of her videos are always so lively and fun.

Hopefully, this article gave you some inspiration on who you should be watching on YouTube. All three of these women are great role models for our generation and produce optimistic and positive content.
