Why Christmastime in New England is the Best

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Emerson chapter.

Why is Christmastime in New England the best?

Every town has its own Christmas tree lit up in the center square.

Walking down snowy sidewalks and looking at all of the decorations brightens your day.

Everyone is wearing Bean Boots (and I mean everyone).

Especially when cutting down your own Christmas tree (which is the only way you should get your tree in New England).

Even our lighthouses are decorated for the holidays.

Boston looks better than ever covered in snow and Christmas lights.

Going ice skating is the best outdoor activity, besides building snowmen.

The best part of living in New England during Christmastime is when it snows on Christmas morning.
