I’m a huge fan of Tumblr, a social networking/micro blogging site that allows users to post multimedia and other content to a short form blog. Tumblr is what you make of it; if all you want to see is delicious food on your dashboard, then you follow food bloggers. If all you want to see is puppies, then you follow animal bloggers. If all you want to see is Zac Efron’s beautiful face, than you follow Zac Efron bloggers (of which there are many). My Tumblr dashboard is all over the place, so I’ve composed a list of some of my favorite bloggers in different categories including samples of posts, for those of you who are either Tumblr newbies or just looking to expand your horizons.
Style

She’s not strictly a style blogger, but her tag of photosets, “An Infinite List of Favorite Collections” is so gorgeous & extensive, and has introduced me to some of my new favorite designers and inspired my style.

Modern Art/Photography/Design
They post some really cool mixed media pieces like the photo of the woman above, along with modern art installations. Another major plus is that they ALWAYS credit back to the original artist, and often provide links with info on the piece (which I’ve included for the two pictures above).

Animals
Honestly, who can resist the pull of a fuzzy, adorable, animal? This blog works off of submissions, so these are original puppy pics, not recycled ones that you’ve seen a million times on Pinterest (despite how cute they are, you need some new stuff). And they don’t just post puppies; it really is anything cute, from babies to chinchillas to ducklings.
