9 Ideas For You And Your Friends to Celebrate Galentine’s Day (In Typical Leslie Knope Fashion)

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Emerson chapter.

1. Go out for breakfast, lunch or dinner

In typical Leslie Knope fashion, you should grab some good waffles down at JJ’s Diner! But if breakfast isn’t your thing, you can always go out to lunch or dinner, because really, it doesn’t matter where you go as long as you’re spending time with your girls!

2. Make gifts or cards for all of your friends

Everyone loves a *creative* homemade gift, so whether you scrapbook a bunch of pictures together, or you write them a card filled with inside jokes, your girls are sure to love whatever you give them!

3. Spend the day talking about all your favorite memories

What better way to spend a day than reminiscing about all the crazy things you’ve done together?

4. Take time to reflect on how amazing it is to be a woman

Appreciate all the lovely ladies in your life, because, after all, that’s what Galentine’s Day is for!

5. Go out for manicures and pedicures

Who doesn’t love a good mani-pedi every once in a while? Girl, you and your friends need to treat yo’ selves this Galentine’s Day and celebrate all the good things about your friendships!

6. Have a group craft session

I don’t know about you, but crafting with my best friends? Accidentally gluing things together? Sign me up.

7. Two words: Chick flicks

Yes, you’ve all seen The Notebook, but who says you can’t watch it again? There are no men complaining about any chick flicks for the entire duration of the film, so cuddle up with your best friends and watch away!

8. Bake cookies (or really any yummy treat)

What could be more fun than baking treats and eating them with your best friends? Answer: Probably nothing.

9. Go shopping

Everyone loves a good shopping trip every once in a while, so if you and your ladies are down, make sure to treat yo’ self this Galentine’s Day!
