Meet Brooke Lowrey! Currently a senior, Brooke has a love for fashion, and her chic style with her personal and unique pieces makes her a trendsetter. Not only is she a student, but she has taken her creativity and fashion sense and turned it into her own clothing line, Brooklynn Street.

When did your love for fashion begin?
I have loved fashion for as long as I can remember. Everything down to my barbies had a thoughtful outfit and style. I think it is the most fun version of self-expression!
How did your clothing line get started?
Brooklynn Street began as a blog in high school where I would talk about fashion and show off all my outfits. Opening a store where people can shop my looks just seemed like the next logical step.
How is it juggling being a student and running your business?
There is a lot that goes into getting the foundation of a company set and that was the most difficult phase of things to balance with school. It has been working for me though and I love what I do everyday. I think people often think college is just a time to mess around and get through classes but there are always opportunities to create more than that.
What is your favorite fashion accessory?
My all time favorite fashion accessory are my hoop earrings. They are so fun and make any outfit look that much more put together. The bigger the better!
What do you feel is the biggest trend for Spring 2018?
I think the biggest trend for spring is embracing personal style. It is a time to be adventurous and discover what your clothes can say about yourself. Don’t be afraid to be playful!!
What’s a dream job once you graduate?
Ideally, I would be working for a company as a creative content director. I would love to be doing anything where I’m creating and connecting with other people.
