After Elon was rebuilt, our mascot became the Phoenix, representing that we have risen from the ashes and are stronger now. Elon continues to rebuild, bringing many changes to campus in the upcoming years. The new addition to McEwen School of Communications will be completed in the fall of 2016. Additionally, Acorn will be closing after this semester and new dining options to bring to campus are currently being discussed – Panera and Pei Wei being two of the restaurants under consideration.
