As we approach the coldest months of the year, it is time for us to unveil our winter wardrobes and welcome the jewel-toned looks that await us.  With everything from oxblood red suede booties to emerald knit beanies, there are winter colors out there for every fashionable collegiette.  The real question is: which colors work the best with each other?

Cobalt Blue & Charcoal Grey

Cobalt blue has always been a color that blends well with neutrals.  Pair it with charcoal grey for a balanced and unique look.  Fashion icon, Olivia Palermo, has been seen sporting this color combo with a cobalt and grey striped oversized sweater and black leather leggings.

Emerald & Camel

With emerald being one of the most eye-catching jewel tones for the winter, be sure to pair it with a color that best compliments it.  Camel has always worked well with this deep hue and can complete any laidback daytime look.  Match a camel structured trench coat with emerald pants to stand out this season.

Burnt Orange & Brown

These two colors look flawless when paired together in a trendy winter outfit.  Brown is a more captivating and sophisticated alternative to black and pairs elegantly with burnt orange.  Inspired by last season’s beautiful fall foliage, this color combo is a staple for this season’s fashion.  Pair an oversized burnt orange sweater with a brown leather mini skirt, tights, and boots for a stylish and effortless look.
