5 Ways to Have a Great Spring Semester

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Elon chapter.

Spring semester just started and you want to make sure you get the most of it. It can be difficult to stay on task academically once the sun starts shining and the temperatures rise, but here are some ways to have the best spring semester ever!

5. Spend 20 minutes reviewing your notes/reading from class – This may sound like a drag, but it will make studying for your next exam less miserable.
4. Make a new exercise goal – Challenge yourself to workout 3x a week, train for a 5K, etc. Working out boosts your metabolism and you will feel good too.
3.  Re-arrange your room – Move your bed and desk, buy some new posters or hang up more photos. Sprucing up your room will make it feel new, but still like “home”.

2. Get Outside- Go to Lake Mackintosh to enjoy paddle boats, row boats, fishing, picnic areas, and a playground.  You can also make a day trip to Hanging Rock, or Stone Mountain to enjoy the beautiful Carolina spring.
1. Unplug from technology – Turn off the computer and tv an hour before you want to go to sleep so you can relax and unwind. Enjoy the quiet to journal, read, or just be still.
