Did you just finish your show on Netflix? Need something to watch between new Grey’s Anatomy episodes? Here’s a list of 7 Netflix shows you can try out. This list has a little bit of everything and I hope you find your new favorite show!

The Office (2005-2013)

“A mockumentary on a group of typical office workers, where the workday consists of ego clashes, inappropriate behavior, and tedium. Based on the hit BBC series.”

I started watching this show with my dad and I didn’t like it at first but after the first season, which is only a couple of episodes, it gets so much better. Michael is pretty cringey but it makes for a really funny show. Jim and Pam have the ultimate love story.  “Gay Witch Hunt” is probably the best episode.

The Vampire Diaries (2009-2017)

“A teenage girl, from Mystic Fall, is torn between two vampire brothers, who are quite the opposite.”

This is one of my favorite shows of all time. The summary from IMDB does not do it justice. It’s so much more than a love triangle. If you love supernatural shows but also want drama and romance this is the show for you. The spin-off “The Originals” is really good too, if not better, because who could resist a british vampire?

Life (2007-2009)

“A former police officer returns to the force after having been wrongly imprisoned for years.”

Finest ginger ever. Damien Lewis is really good in this show. Sadly, it only has 2 seasons but it’s worth the commitment. The main character was wrongfully imprisoned for killing his friend and his family. For 12 years. He’s creepily calm after being released because he has this whole zen thing going on. Along the way he tries to discover who framed him for murder.

Parks and Recreation (2009-2015)

“The absurd antics of an Indiana town’s public officials as they pursue sundry projects to make their city a better place.”

Pawnee, Indiana just might be the best place ever. Leslie is the ultimate feminist. I think April might represent every lazy, done with life, college student. Tom and Donna made up a holiday called Treat Yo Self where money means nothing and everything is possible. This fictional town idolizes a pony and is everything but boring.

Supernatural (2005-)

“Two brothers follow their father’s footsteps as “hunters” fighting evil supernatural beings of many kinds including monsters, demons, and gods that roam the earth.”

This show is on it’s 12th season so no need to worry about having to find a new show anytime soon. I don’t usually like scary shows or movies, American Horror Story almost killed me. The first few seasons are a lot more frightening than the other seasons. I couldn’t watch the first two seasons at night. Yeah I’m a wimp, but Sam and Dean Winchester are so fine that it’s worth it.

New Girl (2011-)

“After a bad break-up, Jess, an offbeat young woman, moves into an apartment loft with three single men. Although they find her behavior very unusual, the men support her – most of the time.”

This is another favorite of mine. Just a bunch 30 year olds living in a LA loft together. What could go wrong? Theres always something crazy going on in 4D. Jess gets cheated on and moves in with a bunch guys. She loves polka dots and she sings about nothing and everything. Somehow, Jess becomes a part of this weird and dysfunctional family.
