What winter accessories/clothes would you recommend for the chilly Durham weather?

Fur coats and chunky knit jumpers. Skinny jeans are a staple!

What have you learnt from being the Fashion Editor of The Palatinate?

I learned a lot from doing my Street Style piece. Mostly I discovered the range of diverse styles in Durham beyond the standard red trousers stereotype!

How would you compare Durham fashion to Manchester fashion?

Manchester is more eclectic, and vintage clothing is more popular. Mancunian guys have a  more daring style than Durham boys. This is all probably because Manchester has a much better choice of shops!

Hidden gems in Durham?

The vintage shop opposite Starbucks on Neville Street called Scarlet Ribbons Vintage and Retro.
