Halloween Drink Recipes

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Duke chapter.

The only time when your drinks should look positively ghastly!

SAY “JELLO” TO HALLOWEEN: Whip up some shots of Jell-O in red, green or black cherry flavors. Buy some gummy worms and set them so that they’re crawling out of the cups.

THE PUNCH BOWL WITH A PUNCH: Buy some rubber gloves, fill them with water, and freeze them. When it’s time to party, run warm water over the gloves very briefly–just long enough to loosen the gloves from the ice–and carefully peel them off the frozen hands. The ice fingers break off easily, but that’s okay! The floating digits just add to the “zombie” effect.

BE A MAD SCIENTIST: buy plastic beakers and/or test tubes, and pour shots of brightly colored punch into them. Invite your guests to take part in your “experiments.”

THE GREEN GOBLIN: You’ll need mint, limeade, vodka, and ice. Blend two cups of each of the following ingredients for a creepy- but yummy- mixed drink! Garnish with oranges to make it look more like Halloween!
