I’ve gone through many shampoos and conditioners, mostly because it feels like my hair is a constant struggle. Not only does it tangle very easily, but it also gets oily fast. Sometimes, it feels like no shampoo and conditioner combination helps.

Verb is a salon quality hair product company from Austin, TX based in New York, NY. Their Ghost Shampoo and Ghost Conditioner is reasonably priced; they are $16 each for a 12 fl. oz. bottle and $36 each for a 32 fl. oz. bottle. Also, their website is very aesthetically pleasing and easy to navigate, which is a plus!

I didn’t have much of an expectation going into reviewing a shampoo and conditioner given my history of luck with hair products; however, I was impressed when I tried Verb’s Ghost Shampoo and Ghost Conditioner. This particular shampoo and conditioner combo have no parabens, no gluten and no sulfates. While I am not an expert on what these things are, I assume this is a good thing!

Verb’s Ghost Shampoo smelled wonderful when I opened the sample packet, and its light coloring made me feel more comfortable putting it in my hair (no vibrant color toxins). The product itself is advertised as being “weightless” and “color safe” and a cleanser, and I definitely felt like my hair was thoroughly washed instead of dirtied with other chemicals.

The conditioner had its own light scent, and is designed to protect, detangle, and soften. With the rate at which my hair tangles, sometimes not even conditioner can fix it. Using this conditioner, I was able to brush my hair with ease, no detangler needed!

However, I think to be able to better judge the quality of shampoo and conditioner, it would take a couple weeks of use to give a solid review.

No complaints yet!
