We here at Drexel love the hometown heroes, the Philadelphia Eagles, who unfortunately will not be making it to the Super Bowl. But, if your favorite team is headed to the Super Bowl or you feel like preparing for tailgates next year, we have a few outfits you can wear to support your team.
Nothing says team spirit more than a traditional jersey. Choosing a jersey with your favorite player, combined with dark skinny jeans and suede boots makes for a casual tailgate outfit. Add an oversized team jacket and a hat to block out the cold, and you’re ready to go.
For those who don’t have own a jersey, wearing team colors is a perfect alternative. We chose dark green skinny jeans with a black leather jacket, topped with a grey fleece scarf. Adapt this to your teams colors and you’ll be the most stylish girl in the lot.
The Eagles may not have made it to the Super Bowl XLIX, but we can still hold out hope for Super Bowl L (California anyone?). If you’re planning for the Cali sun or you team prefers warmer tailgates, try pairing a light colored jersey with shorts. Throw on a pair of matching Converse, and you’re set!
