If you’ve ever been to Trader Joe’s, you know that their shelves are overwhelmingly stocked with new, unique foods and snacks. Everyone loves a good snack, and as a college student, I definitely need them in class and on-the-go. Trader Joe’s is definitely my go-to for tasty treats. From healthy to sweets (balance is key), I’ve rounded up a list of my favorites.

1. Trail Mix Packets

These individually wrapped packets are a perfect healthy snack during class or on-the-go!  Trader Joe’s has a large variety of trail mix, so there’s something for everyone! My favorite is the Simply Almonds, Cashews, and Dark Chocolate Trek Mix.

2. Speculoos Cookies

If you haven’t tried these, do yourself a favor and buy a box. These cookies are life-changing. They’re full of crunchy, cinnamony, and gingerbready goodness. They pair perfectly with your afternoon latte, or with vanilla ice cream if you’re feeling fancy. You’ll never just have one while eating these cookies (treat yo’self).

3. Dried Fruit

Trader Joe’s has an extensive selection of dried fruit, which is the perfect sweet (and somewhat healthy) snack. You can even add dried fruit to your oatmeal or salad! My favorites are the dried mangoes (try the dried chile mangoes if you like that spicy kick), dried coconut strips, dried blueberries, and the banana chips!

4. Sea Salt & Turbinado Sugar Dark Chocolate Almonds

The perfect (and addicting) balance of salty and sweet. And who doesn’t love chocolate? These bite-sized treats make the perfect afternoon or late night snack.

5. Roasted Plantain Chips

Plantains are a member of the banana family, and they make yet another addicting snack. These are perfectly crunchy and salty. I love dipping these in guacamole or in almond/peanut butter!

6. Quinoa and Black Bean Tortilla Chips

Not your typical tortilla chips. Dip these in your favorite guacamole and/or salsa (I love the Corn and Chile Salsa).

7. Sweet Potato Chips

If sweet potatoes are healthier than regular potatoes, does that also apply to the chips? Asking for a friend. Yes, these are another addicting sweet and salty snack. Can you tell that I love sweet and salty things?

Are you hungry yet? Head over to Trader Joe’s and try some of these out for yourself!
