Walking in heels is already difficult enough, but when you factor in the snow and the freezing cold, trekking around campus can be even more challenging. The last thing you want to happen as you’re walking to class is to trip on some ice! With the seasons changing, it’s time to stock up on shoes that can survive any element.

1. Asos Glamorous Stud Point Heeled Ankle Boots ($59)

Studded heels can make a statement without being too flashy. Whether it’s a night out with friends or the chance to dress up for a special occasion these shoes can come in handy.

2. Public Desire Cassie Cleated Sole Chelsea Boots ($60)

These chunky heeled boots will provide you with some traction for those icy snow days. They look great paired with just about anything and the slight platform gives some added height.

3. Zara High Heel Ankle Boots with Metallic Pull Tab ($90)

These red boots can transform a basic outfit into a bold one! Wear these if you want to stand out from the crowd this winter.

4. Asos King Fisher Leather Over the Knee Boots ($98)   A pair of classic leather over the knee boots can easily be worn with knee-high socks for added warmth. Pair them with jeans or leggings and an oversized sweater for a cozy yet stylish look.

5. Zara High Heel Leather Ankle Boots with Metallic Toe ($119)

The shape of these shoes is a throwback to the 1960s. The juxtaposition between the two shoe textures – one part textured and one part shiny – will definitely dress up a basic outfit.

6. Dr. Martens Fur Lined Persephone ($165)

Although these boots are on the pricier side, the quality is outstanding and the fur lining will keep you warm no matter the weather.

You can still dress up your footwear despite the dropping temperatures! All of these shoes have thicker heels and some have fur lining or tracks on the soles to keep you looking practical yet chic this winter. Do you have a go-to pair of cold weather heels? Let us know in the comments!
