This year’s National Eating Disorder Awareness Week is February 25th-March 3rd 2020. The National Eating Disorder Association is sponsoring the week and will be hosting multiple events across the United States including awareness walks, body image workshops and educational events hosted at schools according to their website. The NEDA awareness week has a different theme each year. The theme this year will be “Come as You Are: Hindsight is 20/20”. People can follow the campaign on NEDA’s social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr, and YouTube. People are encouraged to join in on the conversation by using the hashtags #NEDAwareness & #ComeAsYouAre across the aforementioned social platforms. If you know someone or you yourself are suffering from an eating disorder contact the Helpline for support at 1-800-931-2237.
