I love Halloween and seeing all the different costumes that people come up with. This year I noticed that there were a few costumes that I would see quite frequently all over the internet and in person!
1. Barbie
With the Barbie movie I saw different versions of Barbie all over. The most popular version was the cowgirl outfit that the movie used in one of their scenes. I loved seeing the creativity of each version and how everyone had their own spin on the Barbie they did!
2. Addams Family
The Addams Family was a popular costume this year. Especially with the show being on Netflix and the musical that happened this year at DPU there was an increase of this look being spotted. Wednesday was the most popular look next to Mortica!
3.Roman Empire
There has been a trend on TikTok with being asked the question of “What is your Roman Empire?” or “How often do you think of the Roman Empire?”. This made for many people to dress up in a costume from the Roman Empire era which I thought was an interesting take on the trend.
4. Fairies
This one is always a popular halloween costume but this year I noticed a lot more fairy costumes. They all had their own spin to them which made each one really cute! There is also a popular TikTok sound saying “She was a fairy” which a lot of people posted their costume too.
There were various other cool and great costumes out there but these were some that I have noticed the most!!
