My Top Favorite Make-Up Products

I love make-up and over the years I have tried various products, from drugstore to high end makeup, and have finally found products that work well for my dry to normal skin. It has taken a while, but I have found my staples for the time being (at least until I find something better).

Primer: The Milk Hydro Gel Hydrating Primer

This has been the only primer that hasn’t dried out my skin and doesn’t leave my skin feeling sticky. It keeps my makeup on and helps with keeping it from creasing as well! I have also tried the Rare Beauty one which I loved, but I wish that it didn’t have glitter in it.

Color Corrector: LA Girl HD Pro Corrector Concealer

This color corrector brand is my favorite! I have terrible undereye bags and the red corrector in this brand does wonders to help conceal them! A little of this product goes a long way for this product as well.

Eyebrows: Benefit Cosmetics Precisely, My Brow Pencil

I love this brow pencil because it leaves my brows looking super natural. It’s easy to control and I love the way my brows look with this pencil versus pomades (although I do occasionally go back to my Anastasia pomade). I also pair this off with the Benefit Cosmetics Brow Setter!

Foundation: Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-In-Place Foundation

Now I know that this foundation is usually said to be for “older ladies” but I swear by this foundation. It doesn’t leave my face looking cakey and works well with my dry skin in the winter. I always get compliments when I have this foundation on as well!

Concealer: Makeup Forever Matte Velvet Skin High Coverage Multi-Use Concealer

I was a little on the fence about this concealer when I first tried it out because dry skin and matte finishing make-up don’t really go together. But this concealer proved me wrong. This is a thick concealer that doesn’t dry my skin or crease as badly as other concealers I have tried before! A little of this concealer goes a long way and any signs of under eye bags disappear! It also pairs well with the color corrector I love to use.

Powder Contour: Smashbox Cali Contour Face Palette

I love this palette for days I do a full face of make-up. It the contour and bronzer on it which is beneficial especially when I’m traveling!

Cream Contour: Huda Beauty Tantour Contour and Bronzer Cream

I love this creme contour especially when I’m going for a more natural look. And it’s pretty buildable so if you want to have sharper contoured look this would also be great! This is also great for dewy/glowy make-up looks and pairs well with tinted moisturizers.

Liquid Blush: Rare Beauty Soft Pinch

I absolutely love this liquid blush! It’s so pigmented and leaves a nice natural finish on my skin. This pairs well with any foundation and tinted moisturizer. A little dot of this goes a loooooong way.

Powder Blush: Sephora Colorful Face Powder Blush

This powder blush is very pigmented and doesn’t dry out my skin. I love using this on days I want a softer look.

Lipgloss: Maybelline Lifter Gloss

This is my absolute favorite gloss! I have literally almost all the shades and love every single one. It doesn’t leave your lips feeling sticky and is long lasting. A lot of people also say this is a dupe for the Fenty Beauty lipglosses (I have yet to try out Fenty lipgloss but when I do I’ll let you all know my thoughts!)

Lipstick: Huda Beauty Ultra Liquid Matte Ultra Lipstick and NYX Lingerie Matte Lipstick

These two brands are my absolute favorite lipsticks! The Huda Beauty is very long lasting and I rarely have to reapply it. The NYX lipstick isn’t as long lasting but it leaves my lips feeling soft and doesn’t dry out as quickly as other matte lipsticks!

Eyeliner: NYX Fine Point Eyeliner

This is my absolute favorite eyeliner. It’s long lasting and waterproof! I love using the fine point eyeliner because it allows me to create the sharpest wing. It also rarely dries out like other liquid eyeliners I have tried which is a plus because it lasts for a decent amount of time.

Mascara: Maybelline Waterproof Lash Sensational Sky High

This has been my go to mascara for years. Every time I find myself trying out a new mascara I always find myself reaching for this one again. It never clumps up, leaves my lashes looking natural, and keeps my lashes curled all day long.

Eyeshadow: Any Huda Beauty Eyeshadow Palette

The Huda Beauty palettes are sooooo pigmented and range from nude shades to the brightest of colors. Their palettes are also not too expensive and last for a while! Their glitter shadows are all pretty and if you add a little setting spray to your brush it really makes the shades pop!

Highlighter: Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Highlighter Wand

I finally managed to get my hands on this highlighter after TikTok sold it out. I love the natural glow it leaves on my skin!

Setting Powder: Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder and Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder

These two powders are my go to’s. I love the flawless look the Laura Mercier powder leaves my skin in. It also doesn’t dry out my skin as much as the other powders I have tried out. I feel like this powder doesn’t give flashback when you bake with it as well which is great when taking pictures with flash! The Charlotte Tilbury is my favorite to use under my eyes! It helps keep them from creasing as quickly as if I were to just use regular setting powder and keeps my under-eyes looking fresh all day.

Setting Spray: Milani Make It Last Setting Spray

I have tried high end to inexpensive setting sprays and have found this one to work best for me. I love how it helps my makeup last and I usually use this spray on my beauty blender instead of wetting it with water. I feel like it helps give that seamless look when I do that!
