How to with Sass: How to Prepare for Spring Break

Ladies, ladies—the countdown has arrived.  Under 30 days ‘til Spring break, also known as Spreak 20-dos. Its time to put away that Valentine’s day candy, break out your dusty tennies and on-line shop till your dad notices…(in our case, at least).

  1. Tan it or tone it. These are the top two easiest ways to get your body banging for the beach.  Spray tans are a fast and safe way to get your tan on quickly, just remember to turn around!
  2. Hit up the nature park.  This is one place you would not expect to find in the Middle of Nowhere, Indiana.  Take advantage of the strangely warm weather we have been having and head out to the nature park.  Warning, just remember you have to run all the way back, once you actually get there.
  3. Stay away from Green Frogurt.  Yes, this place is the new campus obsession… and the peanut butter is off the chain! If you can’t resist, limit your intake to just once or twice a week and steer towards the fat-free flavors.
  4. Study breaks filled with online shopping.  Ray-Bans, swimsuits, and J. Crew shorts are essentials for any spring break trip.  Reward yourself after a rough week of exams with a little on-line shopping.
  5. Prepare your wallet.  Although all spring break trips may look cheap with a minimal down payment, everything does go up (especially if you follow tip #4). Prior to SB, eat at your Greek house instead of the Hub or Den, walk to class to save dolla-dolla bills on gas, and stick to the frats instead of the bars!
  6. Worst-case scenario you have one week before spring break with zero plans. Don’t forget Nana does have a place in Sarasota! And Granny still knows how to party.
