Confidence. The feeling or belief that one can rely on someone or something; firm trust. Every once in a while we have those days where we lack self-confidence. When we wish we had a bigger booty or simply lacking confidence in ourselves. Someone that I always see and inspires me to have confidence is Lizzo. Lizzo is an American singer/ songwriter that preaches body positivity, self-love and making her haters her motivators. She simply doesn’t care what others think of her and instead she makes it her motivation to be herself constantly. We all need that confidence to be ourselves just like Lizzo.

Lizzo is out here trying to remind us that if someone left you, you’re going through a breakup, your partner cheated on you or all the above that you are still that b*tch. You rock your world and you move on to the next great thing in your life because that’s what you deserve. We deserve to be happy and to treat ourselves once in a while and Lizzo is out here trying to remind us all of that.

Lizzo is setting up our worth right here in this verse. She’s reminding us that life gets hard but we can sore and strive to be the best version of ourselves. I love the reminders in her lyrics that we are human and we get emotional at times but at the end of the day we need to pick ourselves up and tell ourselves that our worth is so much more than that silly little thing we’re overthinking about.
This motivation and confidence are what we all need to strive for! Lizzo is a beautiful human being and her music speaks to us all on a level where we have all been, but the act of improving ourselves and being that better version of us is where we ALL need to find that type of confidence in our life.
