The Basilica is CUA’s pride and joy of buildings on campus. And let’s be honest, it deserves it. Just looking at it from far away, you can tell that it is huge and important. Then when you get up close and personal with it, that statement becomes even more true. Whether you are religious or not this building is architecturally amazing. I mean look how big those windows are! And don’t even get me started on the interior, it takes my breath away every time!
I love just going up to it and looking up at it, talk about feeling like an ant!
So next time you ever walk by this beast of a building look at it, I mean really look at it. Take a walk around it, perhaps even a walk inside to see just how beautiful it really is. Maybe even take a picture (there are no bad angles of this giagantic thing) and upload it on social media. I’m pretty sure people will get jealous and wish they had something like that on their college campuses!
