Rated top ten on National Geographic’s list for best climbing towns in America, Boulder is known for being an incomparable destination for Rocky Mountain climbing.  Boulder has a plethora of climbing gyms to choose from as well as many beautiful outdoor climbs.  A popular destination for many CU students: the stunning flatirons.

The flatirons climbs range in difficulty but always offer breathtaking views.  The first and third flatirons are considered less difficult and are scaled much more often then the second.  For some the climb itself is exhilarating enough but know that Boulder’s unique residents have climbed the flatirons in many exceptional ways-during the night, without ropes and even naked.
