Sometimes, there’s more to learning than just pure memorisation. In my Medieval Sampler class (HIST2620), we finally got to see what we discussed in action. Rings of Steel, a group on campus, came to class to show us how medieval weaponry worked.
It was really nice to have class outside in the sunny and warm weather (for once) and see them have a mock fight on the Arts Quad. This is one of those things you can never forget because it’s just so awesome!
