Everyone’s Reactions While Listening to Ed Sheeran’s New Album

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Cornell chapter.

If you’re anything like me, you’ve been listening to Ed Sheeran’s new album Divide on Spotify every waking hour since it’s been released, much to the annoyance (or pleasure) of your neighbors and suitemates, since they can hear every melodic lyric and rhythm through the thin dorm walls. In my humble opinion, Divide is a great album to listen to at any time of day since it’s both relaxing and energizing. Here are some of my reactions to these new songs.

1. You’re suddenly okay with doing your stats homework because the fractions remind you of your new favorite album

2. You’re ready to start Irish-step dancing every time Galway Girl comes on

3. You’ve had the entirety of Shape of You memorized for weeks now

4. Listening to Perfect makes you tear up every time

5. You’re practicing your Spanish by repeatedly singing the third verse of Barcelona

6. … Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah (New Man)

Happy listening!
