Recently, I’ve been reading the latest book of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants series. The book fast forwards ten years later in the main characters lives. As they are all in totally different places, it makes me think where I will be in ten years. What will have changed? What will still be the same? Even as a soon-to-be college graduate, questions about the future pop into my head pretty often.

One thing I have learned in life is that you never know what tomorrow will hold. I think that as good as it is to have plans for the future, don’t hold on to them too tightly because you never know what will happen later on. All you can do is enjoy life. If there is something you want to do like travel or go to a concert you’ve always wanted to go to, go for it. Why not?

If it doesn’t work out, then at least you tried. You may not have taken over the fashion world by the time you thought you would, but maybe you are in a position where you are one step closer to that goal. So, when ten years later becomes now, you can look back on all those experiences that have happened to you and smile.
