Attending an art school is a completely different experience than any other type of college.  You are surrounded by people who have more on their resumes than just straight A’s. Every building has some type of student work on display, which lets you see just how amazing the talents that surround you truly are.  Deep conversations on basically anything art-related are consistently on the conversation queue. While there are obvious traits associated with art-sc              hoolers, the “hipster” label is the reigning tagline.  Some of my favorite stereotypes may be somewhat true, but in the true sense are not only hilarious, but also incorrect.

  1)  Everyone casually assumes you’re a hipster.

2)  You supposedly listen to “underground” music (Surprise! We still jam to T-SWIFT)

3)   People assume tattoos are a given

4)   People think you can skip all of your classes because they’re “pointless” and “easy” (good thing I just spent 6 hours doing slaving over one of millions of projects)

5)  People think you won’t get a job after college
