With Valentine’s Day coming up, I thought I’d share some of the cutest love songs I know. Although I’ve been single for a while now, this playlist has always been my go-to for whenever I want to feel like I’m in a rom-com. With over 100 songs on it, I’m super proud of this Spotify playlist. It’s called “fall in love 2nite?” (cheesy, I know) and it’s perfect for the occasion! Whether you’re spending Valentine’s Day alone, with a significant other, or doing Galentine’s Day, put on this playlist for some good vibes! You’ll find plenty of Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, and other famous pop stars, but here are 5 of my favorite underrated songs on the playlist:

“Everything and More” by yaeow

It’s short, simple, and sweet. This song is so cute and the artist, yaeow, has such a soft voice. I’ve only just discovered him recently, but I’m already obsessed with all of his music.

Favorite lyric: “I could dive into those eyes yeah, into that smile yeah, want to be all for you.”

“My Dude” by Litany

This song just makes me want to dance even though it’s about an unrequited crush. It has such a fun beat and will definitely cheer you up when you’re feeling lonely.

Favorite lyric: “I hope you don’t think I’m being cruel, only I’m a better match for you. Oh what I’d give to be in her shoes, don’t you know that?”

“Mars” by Alto Moon

Although I can’t relate to the lyrics at all, this song is just so romantic and makes me wonder what it would be like to be serenaded.

Favorite lyric: “But if gravity lets go and we float, we’ll go see the stars together. And if the Earth stopped spinning and fell out of orbit, we’ll orbit Mars together.”

“Love Songs” by Maggie Lindemann

I absolutely loved Maggie’s recent album and this song immediately became one of my favorites. The slow guitar strumming just really hits different.

Favorite lyric: “You deserve everything life can bring, ’cause nothing compares to you”

“As Long As I’m Alive” by Emily Warren

This is another song about being head-over-heels in love. This song is perfect if you see you and your significant other growing old together.

Favorite lyric: “Although my bones might weaken, you know my love ain’t fleeting.”

Of course, I can’t stop you if you want to wallow and cry over how alone you are (because honestly, same), so here’s a playlist for that too, called “unrequited”. If you’re going to be heartbroken during Valentine’s Day, you might as well do it to good music, right?

But for those of you who plan to enjoy Valentine’s Day, I hope you like the playlist. Happy Valentine’s Day!
