Stuck in My Head: Grouplove

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Columbia Barnard chapter.

We all need a little Indie loving every now and again. It’s true–house music can make us feel like we’re on top of the world, regardless of whether or not “we’ve met Molly”–nice joke there Madge!

However, there is nothing like a happy indie song to get our morning started on a cheerful note. Grouplove’s “Tongue Tied” is exactly that kind of song. You may have heard it featured on an iPod commercial, which of course says much more than my brief review. The Apple stamp of approval means it must be good.  I can gurantee that whether you like it, loathe it, or hate it completely, the song’s lyrics will get stuck in your head, as they did for me. So, sit back, relax and imagine being a cool L.A. hipster–for 3 minutes.
