snacks

  • The perfect blend of sweet and spicy to give a flavor palette you’ll never get tired of
  • A mixture of salt and vinegar with a hint of barbeque
  • Reasonably priced and easy to handle, as it comes in a bag
  • At most convenience stores
 Dott’s Pretzels- Original Flavor
  • Not your mama’s pretzels, these have more flavor and a great twist shape that make them a perfect snack
  • Come in a ziplock bag for easy transportation
  • They are emerging in the convenience store market and are selling out fast
  • Have multiple different flavors; I’ve tried all and can say that the original is the best
Kettle Brand Potato Chips Sea Salt & Vinegar
  • A classic that can’t be overlooked
  • Kettle-cooked chip gives a satisfying crunch and flavor that pairs well with the vinegar
  • In convenience stores everywhere
  • Can go for other brands, but Kettle Brand by far has the best kettle-cooked chips with the perfect tang and thick cut
Airheads Xtremes
  • The best sour candy out there that won’t get your fingers coated in sugar
  • They have a refreshing and exciting taste that is the perfect sweet fix
  • Easily shareable with its packaging and can be found in most convenience stores
  • Rainbow Berry flavor ensures that you don’t get overwhelmed by one flavor such as orange or grape and instead have variety within one bite
original Cheez-its
  • This may be a controversial pick as we have some more exciting ones on this list, but Cheez-its are a comfort and a familiar favorite
  • Can get in any store and have a variety of sizes to choose from
  • People will try to trick you into saying other flavors are better, but the original has the perfect toast and cheddar that makes the Cheez-it good
  • A surprisingly filling snack that will sustain you for a good portion of your trip

drinks

Propel Water—Berry
  • Yeah, water is great, but Propel is hydrating and flavorful while still being sugar free and caffeine free
  • Comes in those fun bottles with the squirt lid that makes for easy drinking in a moving car
  • It is found in most convenience stores and comes in a variety of flavors, but Berry is the least overwhelming out of them all
Nesquik Chocolate Milk
  • The best chocolate milk on the market, no doubt
  • Chocolate milk is sustaining and the sugar will give you a boost in your travels
  • It’s a reminder of a simpler time in life when you were younger, and chocolate milk was your favorite treat
Diet Coke
  • A cold and fizzing diet coke is unmatched
  • This is specifically recommended if travel is being done in a hot or warm climate as a Diet Coke instantly refreshes and regenerates
  • Has caffeine in it to wake you up for your travels
  • Diet Coke is sugar free, so there are no added sugars
Pure Leaf Lemon Iced Tea
  • Personally, unsweetened iced tea is not a favorite, but if you like that, Pure Leaf is the best brand for iced teas
  • Lemon Iced Tea is the perfect amount of sweetness and gives a good kick with the lemon
  • Refreshing and caffeinated to put an extra pep in your step
  • Caution, they tend to overfill these bottles. When opening, make sure to sip soon as it will spill over the top in a bumpy car
Gatorade
  • There’s no flavor on this one because everyone has very specific preferences to which they prefer, but arguably the best packaging is the twist top that has the spout for it
  • Restores electrolytes and gives great hydration
  • Always a fun reminder of one’s club sports days or summer camps where one would chug these
