As we head into March, don’t pack up your sweaters and boots just yet. If you haven’t looked out your window, there is plenty of snow on the ground and plenty more still coming.  Blame it on Mother Nature, but we aren’t quite ready to stop accessorizing with draping scarves and trim-cut blazers. Colby girls have made it clear that this cold weather is only going to make us think outside the box. When we have the antsy feeling for summer, we try tights under shorts, with a chiffon top to compliment. When the cold gets colder, we bring out that oversized sweater and wear it over leather leggings, with a delicate shoe or high boot to match. For those of us who look like we just walked out of a J.Crew catalogue, play it up; stick a collared shirt under a sweater and top any outfit off with a blazer.

On the other side of the spectrum, for those Urban Outfitters and Free People girls, use your bold colored pants as a statement. Talk about an eye catcher. Last but not least, every detail counts. So when you are sipping your hot chocolate, make sure you have your Chan Luu bracelets on. Trust me, they will be spotted. February at Colby has brought much creativity and originality to the Hill; I can’t wait to see what you girls have up your sleeve for March!
