Disclaimer: This is strictly opinion based on what I know about each zodiac sign and Harry Potter house. I am basing this off the sun sign!
GRYFFINDOR: Aries, Leo and Sagittarius (Fire)
Gryffindors have opposite sides of them just like fire signs! When needed, they will bite when people bark but they’re also playful! They choose what side of them you deserve to see but they’re very trusting people. They often prefer to make those around them happy before focusing on their happiness. Fire signs are usually very stubborn and like to do things their own way (Harry…cough cough).
HUFFLEPUFF: Capricorn, Virgo, and Taurus (Earth)
Hufflepuffs are portrayed as the softies of the Harry Potter world and while it’s still true, Hufflepuffs and Earth signs are actually super hard-working and fair! They’re often mediators during arguments or conflicts, trying to keep the peace. A Hufflepuff is practical and to the book. They like things planned out and done exactly as planned. Earth signs are extremely dependable and are great friends like Neville!
RAVENCLAW: Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius (Air)
Ravenclaws are analytical and curious! They’re always up for a new adventure. Just like air signs, they tend to be independent, totally fine living through life on their own! Air signs are wise and often share the wisdom they didn’t know they had until it comes out! These signs are creative and often will pick up different hobbies like writing, painting, knitting and I bet that if they went to Hogwarts they would pick up any book they saw or take a multitude of different classes (the Dark Arts probably intrigue them ;)). Their thirst for knowledge and knowing the most is unmatched.
SLYTHERIN: Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces (Water)
Slytherin is the misunderstood house in the Harry Potter world as water signs tend to be the most misunderstood zodiacs. Water signs are remembered for their emotional nature. While these signs have more intense emotions than others, they usually use those emotions as a drive for their goals. They’re extremely ambitious and refuse to let people get in the way of what they want. They’re often perfectionists and love the praise they receive for their achievements! These signs are very charming and talk themselves out of trouble often.
