Love is in the air, whether it’s love for yourself, your friends, family, or a partner, it’s important to show your devotion for the special people in your life! Sometimes it’s hard to figure out what kind of love you or your loved ones appreciate. But now there’s no need to worry, we can figure out which love language works for you and the special people in your life.

Words of Affrimation

Words of Affirmation is for those who love compliments, praise, and assurance. People want to be told how other people feel about them because hearing it reassures them. Make sure to really tell them how happy they make you feel, if they do something good, or you’re proud of them. Make sure you always communicate that with your words!

Giving/recieving gifts

The Gift Giving and Receiving love language is all about the act of giving someone a gift or appreciating someone giving you a gift. It could be big or small, but some people love giving/receiving gifts. Just the act of giving or receiving something could make one’s entire day. It is all about the gesture of a gift or that they gave something thoughtful to you.

quality time

Quality Time is super important for those whose love language this is. Quality Time just means spending time with one another. It could be a fancy dinner you’ve had planned for months, or simply a run to Target. As long as it is spending time with the ones they care about, everything feels at peace.

physical touch

Physical Touch is the act of giving hugs, holding hands, and any kind of physical love. It is the act of being physically connected to the person you care about is the most important. It’s about feelings that are there beside you through any hardships.

ACTS OF SERVICE

Acts of Service is simply the act of your loved one or you doing something for the other. Examples could be fixing something in the household that broke, helping out with laundry, or even just holding open the door for your loved one. It is about the act itself and the desire to help out the person, or the person helping you that means so much.
