If you are like me, setting up holiday decorations right after Halloween is A-okay, as I do not like waiting until after Thanksgiving or even until mid-December. Along with these decorations come the holiday festivities that never get old year after year. So, here are some of my favorite ways to celebrate and get in the holiday spirit through the New Year.

Baking cookies with friends/family/roommates

Whether it’s with my family or friends, I always love having a little get-together to bake holiday desserts, especially with my roommates to celebrate getting through the semester.

Taking advantage of the Dunkin’ Holiday Menu

One of the main things that drains my bank account, but makes me instantly happy is getting a drink at Dunkin, and this feeling gets even stronger when they bring out their fun and festive drink menu. So take that extra step to treat yourself to a sweet holiday drink.

Watch holiday movies

Watching a movie never disappoints, so what better way to get into the holiday spirit than cozying up under a warm blanket and drinking some hot chocolate?

Go ice skating

For those of us who like being outdoors, even when it is cold out, ice skating is a great way to spend time with friends and family, while also enjoying some laughter as some of us fall sometimes (i.e. me).

Light a bonfire and make some S’mores

If you love being outdoors and have a sweet tooth, this is just for you. There’s nothing better than chilling with friends outside and enjoying something sweet.
