Truthfully, I wish I read more. In my downtime, I either catch up on TV or nap. There are some books that I’m dying to read, so I’ve promised myself that I would get around to them this summer. I’ve also read some kick-ass books whose titles induce judgment from my friends (and yes, the plots are slightly embarrassing to describe), but they’re actually well written and emotionally engaging. Maybe I’m being ridiculous, but here’s a short list for y’all:
1. Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? (And Other Concerns) by Mindy Kaling
2. Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
3. Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins
4. Isla and the Happily Ever After by Stephanie Perkins
5. Why We Broke Up by Daniel Handler
If it isn’t obvious, I’m a huge fan of Stephanie Perkins. #2-4 are three out of the four books she has written (and they’re all part of the same collection… oops).
