Cocktail Dress for Cold Weather

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at CMU chapter.

Dressing up for a night out doesn’t have to entail showing a lot of skin — especially in unforgiving Pittsburgh weather. Stay warm by pairing patterned tights and a dress with longer sleeves. If your dress has a low neckline, add an eye-catching statement necklace to make your outfit stand out at a bar or club. This look is perfect for Carnegie Mellon’s winter events, such as the Official Back to School Party.
