Studying abroad…I firmly believe it is for everyone. Even if it is not super applicable to your major or you think you don’t have time, MAKE TIME. Something about being abroad really opens your mind to new ideas. You make friends for life. AND you get to travel country to country on the weekends. Studying abroad last summer was by far the best decision I’ve made in college. So, what are the opportunities here at Clemson?
PARIS
This program is for business majors/minors and is in the spring semester!
BRUSSELS
You know you want to go abroad with Eddie Smith this summer. –Plus Clemson has their own campus over there. A semester abroad could give you a business minor as well!
OXFORD
My personal favorite :). Law, management, and accounting classes with the best Clemson students around over the summer.
There are tons of other opportunities. You can do what my roommate did and study through a third party and live with a host family or get involved in an exchange program! Just make an appointment with the Study Abroad Office (E-307 Martin Hall) and spread your wings (corny, I know).
