Spring break has come to an end and it’s safe to say that not many of us are looking forward to heading back to campus. Whether you spent the past week relaxing on the beach or on the couch, the thought of your first class on Monday is making you cringe. Hopefully you were able to do something enjoyable during your downtime before heading back to school. I spent my spring break at home, as I was unable to go on any lavish trips due to my college student budget. While others were enjoying the sun and sand, I was facing wind and snow.  As much as I wish I was able to hop on a plane and travel to any one of my dream destinations, I am very grateful that I got to spend time with my family.

As for next year, I plan on making arrangements to go somewhere over spring break. Watching snaps and seeing instagram posts of my peers in exotic places gave me some motivation to be able to travel in the future. I haven’t always been the best at saving my money… but, I have a true passion for traveling and I believe that I can put aside some things in order to save up for a trip. I’ve heard good things about Airbnb and I plan to look into some of their affordable options.

Although spring break is over and it feels like it went by way too fast, the end of the semester is just around the corner. Soon it will be summer and there will be plenty of time for relaxation. Let the countdown begin!
