#Unsentproject: If You Could Say Something You Never Said, Would You?

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Chapman chapter.

You wished you opened your mouth and let the words just roll off of your tongue.

But you didn’t, did you? You never said what you wanted to say.

In honor of Valentine’s Day, notorious for being a “day of love,” Röra Blue, a 19-year-old artist and blogger, highlights the poetry of words never spoken in her #unsentproject on social media, immortalizing the words from people all over the world. Röra initiated the project as a way to equip people with the chances they missed or never recieved, a window to say what they’ve always wanted to to their first loves, from the love at first sight to the one that got away–without making them send the message on the phones they’d regret ever having.  She publishes submissions of texts from people, addressed to their person, and asks them to pair that person with a color that resembled their character.

So here’s to love, for better or for worse:
