Days can be really long in college. Some people start at 8:30 a.m. and don’t end until 10 p.m. When choosing snacks, it’s important to pick something with a lot of protein. The next time you’re looking for a snack, instead of grabbing that bag of chips, try one of these combos.
Peanut butter and celery
A handful of nuts like cashews or almonds (Optional: adding in some dried fruit)
Warning: Nuts have a lot of fat, so it’s important to portion them out. Even though they are considered healthy fats, it’s still not good to have too much of them.
Hummus and carrots (or pita)
