Kevin Wolf: The Original Campus Celeb, Still On a Roll

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Chapman chapter.

Senior film production major Kevin Wolf, HerCampus Chapman’s first ever Campus Celeb, is steadily riding the road to success. This past weekend, Wolf screened his senior thesis, a short film called Adagio, for a crowded theater of his peers and family.

“It was so amazing to have my family come all the way from Ohio for the screening,” says Kevin. “They were so supportive of team Adagio. My grandma had not been to the beach in 15 years, so she had a blast when her toes got to be in the sand.”

With the school year reaching a close, Kevin is looking ahead to life after college—a future that shines with promise. First on the to-do list is a trip to Maui, Hawaii, where Kevin will assist CNBC news in covering a meeting of venture capitalists and technology startup companies. Afterwards, he will depart for a summer of filming in the British Virgin Islands, where he will produce a short documentary and live stream combination piece for Richard Branson, CEO of the well-known conglomerate Virgin Group. Upon his return to California, Kevin is looking to leave Orange County for the Bay Area. “I plan to move to San Francisco and make videos for tech startup companies,” he states.

In looking back upon his time at Chapman, Kevin says that one of the most important lessons he took away from college is, “Break rules that are not made yet.” He also notes the importance of friendship, adding, “Create with your friends; don’t just hang out with your friends, create with them. Have an amazing time and don’t look back.”

See Kevin and the rest of the senior class cross the stage at Chapman’s University’s commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 23.
