HC: Outside of school, what do you like to do?
Reid: I really like playing sports and hanging out around the fraternity (DKE) house. I also love to fly fish. Some of my best memories are fishing with my brother and dad. On campus I serve on the Honor Court, coach a soccer team for Rainbow Soccer, tutor ESL students and Greek Life.
HC: What do you plan to do in the future?
Reid: After college, I want to be a high school English teacher and coach the football team.
HC: Do you have any cool plans for this summer?
Reid: For the first half of the summer, I am going to go to Clayton, GA and work. But after that, I am going to King’s College in London to take summer school classes. I’m pretty excited because the Olympics will be going on while I am there. Even though I probably won’t be able to get tickets, it will be cool to just be there and experience it.
HC: Do you like to travel?
Reid: Yeah, I like to get outside of my comfort zone and learn new things. It’s also just really fun to go to new places.
HC: Where are some other cool places you have been?
Reid: I went to Thailand last summer to work for a non-profit. I helped with some of the organizational and publicity stuff sometimes, and then other days, I would go help in village orphanages. It was a great trip.
HC: What qualities do you look for in a girl?
Reid: Physically, I look at a girl’s eyes and smile. But they have to have a good sense of humor and be laid back. I also like when a girl is low maintenance. And she has to be smart. Basically she has to be someone I would want to introduce to my parents.
