This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Chapel Hill chapter.

If you’re throwing the ultimate Halloween party, or just making a few cocktails before you and your friends head out to bars, here are a few spooktacular drink recipes you have to try on Halloween night (Given you are of age, of course). These bewitched brews are simple and delicious, but the presentation is flawless.

Every Halloween I shamelessly scan the pages of home decorating magazines, in particular Martha Stewart Living, for the perfect Halloween recipes and crafts. I must say- I am never disappointed. Here are a few recipes from her website along with some other recipes from various magazines:

1. Bleeding Heart Martini

My personal favorite, this drink has a bite and looks incredible.

Ingredients:

Add gin to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously until chilled; divide among chilled glasses. Garnish each with a skewered pickled baby beet, and serve immediately.
