10 Things You Should Catch Up On With Spring Break Right Around The Corner

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Chapel Hill chapter.

OK, so you might be going on vacation over spring break, but assuming you have just a little time on your hands, I’m sure there are things you need to catch up on. If you’re like me, spring break means vacation, but it also means a chance to jump back into the semester more on top of things than I was before. Read on to find 10 things you might need to catch up on too!

Sleep

I don’t even think I could begin to tell you how much I need sleep, and what better time than a break, when you (might) have a little time to spare?

Spring Cleaning

A little spring cleaning, anyone? Clean out your closet, get rid of some old clothes and clean up your home a little! New second half of the semester, new you… right?

Homework

I know, I know, how dare I mention homework over spring break? But, hey, you gotta do what you gotta do, right?

Job Searching

This is really making out for a sad list, isn’t it? I don’t know about you, but to me, spring break also means a night spent trying to prepare myself for post-grad life.

Time with Friends

If the semester got busy for you and you missed out on time with friends, then spring break is the perfect time to hang out!

Time with Family

If you’re going home for break, use it as an opportunity to catch up on some quality family time.

Eating All The Yummy Food

College can mean repeating the same bland meals for what feels like forever. Use this break to expand your culinary skills, eat your parents’ home-cooked meals or treat yourself to a nice dinner!

Relaxing

Treat yourself! Pamper yourself! Sit on the couch and read a book or watch TV. Whatever helps you relax, spend some of your break doing that.

Vacationing

If you’re going on vacation, use spring break to have a wonderful time at whatever destination you choose!

Did I mention sleep?

Oh yes, I’ll be getting my full eight hours of rest each night. It’s going to be great!

How will you be spending your spring break?
