2022 is finally upon the universe, and it seems like 2021 has gone by in a flash, and it’s crazy. Within the year 2021, there have been many fashion trends (that most of the time were presented from TikTok). While some fashion trends were innovative and deemed “cool,” others immediately needed to be dumped in the trash.

The world is finally passed some of those horrendous fashion trends and on to the new and “fetch” ( as Gretchen from “Mean Girls” would say) trends that will elevate your outfit in many ways. These trends all correlate with the streetwear fashion genre (which is popular today), but you can honestly incorporate them with any style you desire.

PUFFER VEST

The first trend is puffer vests, which are fashion enthusiasts’ new obsession. No, not puffer coats, but puffer vest. This trend started to make itself known on Instagram, and fashion influencers have been flocking to them. The Puffer Vest is the perfect piece for the winter season. You can easily find the coat at stores such as H&M, Forever 21 (where you can get them for an excellent price), Zara, Shop Cider, ASOS, and many more. With a puffer vest, you can pair them with turtlenecks, hoodies, blouses, and crewnecks. This piece is a fantastic way to incorporate street style with high-end fashion.

LANVIN CURB SNEAKER

The second trend is the Lanvin Curb sneaker, which is becoming a popular sneaker among the streetwear community. The sneaker explosion happened out of nowhere, and everyone loved them. With skater sneakers such as Nike Sb’s becoming a high demand within the shoe market, the Lanvin Curb is becoming popular at the right time. The Curb sneaker first debuted during the fashion brand’s fall 2020 runway collection. The Curb shoes look a lot like the DC skater shoes from way back that were popular among the skateboard community. When you first see the sneaker, it gives off a dumpy look, but after a while, you will grow to love them and begin styling them in bold and assertive ways.

THE COLOR GREEN

The Last Trend is the color green. Yes, green is the color that the fashion girlies are flocking to, and it’s not that bad. Back in 2015, Rihanna hit the iHeart Radio Awards show stage to perform her hit song at that moment, “B**** Better Have My Money.” Rihanna had on an all-green look that lit up the internet. But, even though the vibrant money-inspired look went mega-viral, the push on the color green with clothing and accessory pieces didn’t carry on to the fashion girls. It wasn’t until 2019 that the Bottega Veneta fashion house introduced the color green within their popular accessories, boxes, and shopping bags. Since then, many people have been going all out with complete green looks. It’s like green is the new pink. Green is a powerful and dominant color that goes perfect with streetwear and chic fashion statements.
